National Cycling Conference in Stockholm

25–27 August 2026

You are now invited to submit your contribution. The National Cycling Conference in Stockholm brings together around 400 participants, including decision-makers and professionals from municipalities, regions, national authorities, as well as representatives from interest organisations, the private sector, academia, and consultancy firms.

Throughout the conference, participants meet for knowledge exchange, inspiration, and learning on how cycling can be strengthened through planning, implementation, and collaboration. The programme offers dynamic sessions featuring leading Swedish, Nordic, and European perspectives, with concrete examples drawn from municipal and regional practice.

We are seeking your contribution

Do you have experiences, methods, or insights that could inspire others? Are you working with the development of cycling and active mobility within municipalities, regions, research, the private sector, or civil society? Have you tested something that worked — or didn’t work — and would like to share what you learned?

Or do you have ideas for themes, speakers, or questions you would like to hear more about at the conference? If so, we welcome your submission for the National Cycling Conference 2026.

What your contribution can look like

Contributions may take many forms. In addition to traditional presentations, we welcome interactive and innovative formats such as workshops, panel discussions, films, case studies, practical examples, storytelling, interactive sessions, or other creative approaches that promote learning and engagement.

We encourage submissions that highlight learning examples from municipal and regional practice, strategic development work, and planning initiatives that make cycling and other active travel modes more attractive, accessible, and sustainable. The conference is a national meeting place for learning and knowledge sharing, with real-world experiences, challenges, and solutions at its core.

We welcome both established and new voices to contribute.

Submit your contribution no later than 9 March 2026
